1. Rinse and drain the wild rice, then cook it according to package directions, or follow the instructions below.
2. Add the wild rice and vegetable broth together in a large pot, and bring to a boil.
3. Once the pot is boiling, put the lid on, reduce to low heat, and lit it simmer for 40 to 45 minutes.
4. While the rice cooks, sauté the onions in a large pan over medium heat for 4 to 5 minutes.
5. Once onions are soft, add the apples and sauté them for another 4 to 5 minutes.
6. Once onions and apples are cooked, add them to the pot of cooked rice, along with the pecans, cranberries, rosemary, parsley, salt, and pepper and stir together.
7. Once everything is mixed together well, serve, and enjoy!
