5. After that time, check the pasta to see if it's done; if it needs more time, add another cup of water and cook for another 8 to 12 minutes, stirring and checking "cookedness" regularly.
6. Once the pasta is cooked to your liking, divide it into pasta bowls, top it with 1 ounce of parmesan per serving, and enjoy!
